I am a faculty member of Heterodox Academy (HxA), the “leading membership organization for faculty, staff, and students who want to ensure that our universities are places where intellectual curiosity thrives.”
I hold board certifications to practice from the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine.
I am an associate member of the Perinatal Research Society. “PRS was established in 1969 to foster scientific interchange among pediatricians (neonatologists), obstetricians and basic scientists with research interests in the areas of perinatal medicine and developmental biology. This unique group first gathered at the University of Colorado under the leadership of the late Fred Battaglia, MD. In 1970, when PRS was formally incorporated, the leadership reads like a Who’s Who of early perinatologists and researchers.”
I am a member of the Society for Pediatric Research, which works “to cultivate a diverse network of child health researchers through collaboration, community, mentorship, and advocacy.”
