Genomic Neonatology
My research group studies the genetic basis of disease in infants. This includes translational research into how genetic testing can improve clinical care, as well as basic research into the genetic underpinnings of disease.
Areas of focus include:
The genetic contribution to FGR (fetal growth restriction) and SGA (small for gestational age) birth weight
Congenital anomalies of the kidneys and heart
Perinatal presentations of genetic disorders
